Our team has always placed the utmost importance on sterilization and infection control. In response to COVID-19, we have updated our daily procedures so that we are meeting the new guidelines and standards of the American Dental Association (ADA) to provide your child the safest and most comfortable treatment possible.
Your Child’s Appointment: Once you have arrived for the appointment at either location, please park your car and call the front desk team to let them know of your child’s arrival.
Before your child’s appointment begins, we will conduct a health screening. This will include asking a series of questions about the status of the patient’s recent (and of course long-term) medical history. We understand that depending on your child and the treatment that is being completed, he or she may need a caregiver to be inside the practice for the appointment. However, caregivers and all siblings, etc. are to remain in the car whenever possible. When necessary, one parent or caregiver will be allowed in the office during the appointment.
We ask that a mask is worn by the caregiver throughout the entire appointment and while working with our front desk team if they come inside. Furthermore, whenever maturity and age allow, we ask that patients wear masks in and out of the building and while not receiving dental care.
Dr. Amber and her team understand these regulations may not always be convenient, but these rules are not only for the safety of the Smile Wright Dental team but for the safety and health of our little patients and their families.
New Additions To Our Offices:
Our team members will be wearing the recommended personal protective equipment, including surgical caps, surgical gowns, face shields, and of course face masks.
Both our Springfield and Xenia offices will have HVAC systems to ensure clean air circulating throughout the practices.
Our team will also be disinfecting and sanitizing all common areas and surfaces throughout the day.
We are looking extremely forward to seeing you and your little ones soon, and we can promise you we will greet you and your child with a huge smile (under our masks of course)!
If you have any specific questions about the steps we are taking to provide you and your family the safest appointment possible, please call our team at the location your appointment is taking place.
“Dr Wright is an amazing dentist! She did a lot of work in a small amount of time- and my daughter isn’t even complaining of pain after! So impressed! She is beyond kind and cannot recommend her enough. I will be continuing to take my children to her for years to come.
They gave my daughter an adorable gift bag with after-surgery food, toothbrushes, animal floss, paste, and an adorable blanket.”
“I love the staff here, their are all about the children not only making sure the kids are comfortable but they do wonders to keep and maintain your little ones smile. I travel over 20 miles just for this office and its well worth it, everyone is always professional and sweet to the parents and especially the children.”
